Known for its Floridian style and charm, Winter Garden is a wealth of west Orange County heritage and history. It’s hours from everything notable in Florida from beaches, to the city, to the famous, Florida attractions.
The town is home to almost 45,000 residents and is settled on the southern shore of the gorgeous Lake Apopka.
It was built on the back of the citrus industry during the 19th century and has since grown into a modern oasis for all things art and community.
Visitors love the small town feel and often find themselves with their family walking the red- brick streets of downtown or stopping into their favorite family owned restaurants. The historic downtown is listed on the National Registry of Historic Places and is located along the West Orange trail, part of the 250- mile Coast to Coast Connector Trail.
Along the trail, visitors can enjoy an array of award winning outdoor dining. During the weekends, residents and visitors gather for the farmers market, tour museums, and visit the unique shops. Due to its proximity to Orlando and the theme parks, Winter Garden is said to be an ideal spot to live, work, and visit.
